A combination of glycine and NAC studied in older adults for restoring glutathione and improving multiple markers of aging.
GlyNAC is the combination of the amino acid glycine and N-acetylcysteine, the two building blocks the body needs to make glutathione. Trials from a Baylor research group in older adults reported that GlyNAC restored glutathione, reduced oxidative stress and inflammation, and improved several aging-related measures including strength and cognition.
