Overview
Thymopentin is a synthetic pentapeptide corresponding to the active site of the thymic hormone thymopoietin. It modulates T-cell development and immune function and has been used clinically in some countries for immune deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, and as an adjuvant. It is not FDA-approved but has a more defined clinical history than many research peptides.
